 Product Description  

EpiArt DNA Enzymatic Methylation Kit is an enzyme-based DNA methylation kit. Compared with the sulfite conversion method, this product has the advantages of less DNA damage, better sequencing data uniformity, and higher detection sensitivity of CG sites. It can be combined with the next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology to enable highly accurate identification of DNA methylation sites at single-base resolution. The conversion product obtained with this kit can be used for downstream applications such as conventional polymerase chain reaction (PCR), fluorescent quantitative PCR (qPCR), and NGS library preparation.

 Features  

• Conversion rate >99%: The conversion efficiency of unmethylated cytosine is ≥99%.

• Little damage to DNA by conversion: the enzymatic conversion process is mild and causes little damage to DNA. Compared with traditional bisulfite conversion, more complete DNA fragments can be retained

• Good uniformity of sequencing output: Compared with bisulfite conversion, the enzymatic conversion process is mild, and the uniformity of EM-seq sequencing output is better

• High detection sensitivity of CG sites: Compared with bisulfite conversion, EM-seq can detect more CpG sites than WGBS, has more uniform GC coverage, and can more truly reflect the situation of the original sample.
